Each type of appearance is characterized by its shortcomings and virtues. Correctly matched makeup techniques are an ideal way to emphasize a favorite and hide the unwanted.

To accentuate their beauty, it is not necessary in every case to apply to make-up artists of expensive salons. The technique of professional make-up is based on several fundamental principles - you just need to remember them, find out what details fit your style and use correctly.

Cosmetic application affects four main accents - it is the tone of the face, eyes, eyebrows and lips. Makeup of each part is performed according to a certain technology. In the complex, they all make up an integral image.

Makeup for the face

New techniques in make-up are aimed at creating a 3D, or 3D effect. They do not just emphasize the existing virtues. With the help of certain techniques, you can practically create new facial features.

Today, such 3D makeup schemes are popular:

  • sculpting (or contouring);
  • strobing;
  • chroming;
  • aerial makeup.

Let's take a closer look at each of them.

Conturing

The outline of the contour makeup is to create imitations of natural shadows. The methods of applying cosmetics for sculpting depend on the shape of the face:

  • For a round face, it is preferable to create a contour of cheekbones - so you can gently correct the shape.
  • To sculpt the rectangular shape of the line are applied along the contour: from the temple up to the central part of the forehead, along the chin, with a soft shade. An important accent is the eyebrows. They are given a rounded shape, the upper eyelid helps to strengthen the effect.
  • The oval shape is the most universal and suitable for such technique.

In the contour, it is not necessary to fundamentally correct something, you just need to emphasize the advantages. With the help of blush, bronzer, hailer, the line of cheekbones is emphasized. The focus is on all the protruding parts of the face.

Strobing

Another trend scheme for applying makeup. The emphasis is on the skin. The main tool is a highlighter, the result is a shining skin. At the same time, visually the feeling remains that there is no cosmetics at all or it is present in a small amount.

Since strobing expresses naturalness, it is most suitable for perfectly smooth skin. But this does not mean that owners of other types do not even have to try it. Just choose the right kind of highlighter.

With a problem skin with irregularities, a dry hilayter is appropriate. It more visibly disguises flaws, it lasts longer. For normal skin (smooth, smooth and without noticeable defects), a liquid texture is used. The effect is maximally natural. But dry haylayteras are also suitable - they are more resistant and the makeup retains its freshness longer. Skin with freckles is covered with a bronze hailer - it creates a radiance effect and further emphasizes the feature of this type.

Chroming

This technique of applying face makeup is a follower of stroking and differs only in the basic tool. In chroming, shining skin is created with a transparent lipstick with mother of pearl. The application of lipstick is the final stage, performed after the equalization of the face tone.

Depending on the type and color of the skin, pearlescent, pale golden or translucent white shades can be used. Lipstick for chroming has a cream structure - it perfectly grows and makes the tone even. Apply to all the prominent facial features - cheekbones, nose bridge, lip lines.

Aeromakyazh, or aerography

One of the new methods of applying makeup. With it, you can hide all the shortcomings, pores and irregularities, create the most natural image, but it does not prevent the skin from breathing normally.

To do this, you need an airbrush, an air compressor and a special set of paints. The whole point of aeromacking is spraying the skin with the help of these devices. Cosmetics lay down a light, almost transparent layer, masking all the inaccuracies. The skin as it is covered with a light veil, but it retains its naturalness, the color only becomes slightly "porcelain".

The great advantage of aeromacking is its stamina. All funds are applied in a small amount, but evenly distributed throughout the face, creating an even tone without excess cosmetics.

Another bonus - this makeup is not afraid of sweat, tears and other moisture. You can just get your face wet with a napkin and do not worry that at the wrong time, blush or shadows will flow. It does not need to be constantly corrected - on average, the resistance persists for 12 to 18 hours.

Eye Makeup Techniques

Makeup artists distinguish many schemes of applying cosmetics for the eyes. All of them fall into two categories:

  1. Basic techniques (planar) make-up: classic, horizontal, vertical and diagonal. When applying colors, their visual volume is not taken into account. It is recommended for beginners to learn the basics of make-up.
  2. New schemes of the volume make-up: Smoky eyes, Banana, Wing, Cat's Eye, pencil. With their help, you can give the volume to certain facial features and make them more expressive.

All these schemes are created mainly with the help of shadows, eyeliner or pencil, supplemented with ink. The appropriate option is chosen depending on the type of person and the goal that he pursues: it is everyday daytime, or evening for a solemn event.

Eyebrow Makeup Techniques

Among the considerable number of techniques for eyebrow make-up, three main ones stand out.

  • Natural

It is performed in two stages: first with the help of a pencil or shadows, the space between the hairs is painted, further the eyebrows are fixed with a special gel. All means are applied moderately, the natural young look is preserved, the face looks fresh and well-groomed.

  • Graphic

This technique is more radical. Using a pencil or liquid shadows, a new shape of the eyebrows is drawn. The lines are sharp, often thin. The image comes out strict, visually makes the face older.

  • Mixed

Includes the two previous ones. In it, the base and the middle are obscured by shadows or pencil, and the contour of the tip is clearly drawn. It is most preferable for everyday make-up, it gives an image of completeness.

Lip Makeup Techniques

Lip makeup in ombre techniques (top) and contrast gradient (bottom)

Applying cosmetics to the lips is one of the most important steps in creating an image. To make-up your lips you need to take it seriously, all contours should be clear, without inaccuracies, inaccuracies - otherwise the makeup will be spoiled.

Consider some popular schemes of application.

  • Ombre

This technique implies the creation of a contrast - the pencil is darkened with a lip contour and lipstick lightens their central part, or vice versa. We wrote about this method of make-up in our article: "Makeup of lips in the technique of ombre".

  • Contrast gradient

Slightly similar to the previous one, but the contrast is created with the help of two different shades of lipsticks. The more the difference in their shades, the more effective the result is. It is often used to create an evening image.

  • Lip augmentation

Can be done with concealer and liner. With a pencil of a shade approximating to the lips, a contour is drawn, it grows, and the central part is clarified with a tonal remedy. This technique (more on it, by reference) gives lip a plumpness.

  • Clearly defined lips

Often a common method. In this technique, around the perimeter of the lips, a contour is induced, not allowing lipstick or shine to flow. Especially recommended for lovers of saturated shades.

Using the above techniques and combining them, you can always update your appearance, experiment. At the same time, for every woman, the rule should remain the same: whatever technique of make-up is used, it is always worth remembering the value of natural beauty and skin care.
